Memoirs of an Insomniac gathers poems written between 2009 and 2017. A police officer revisiting an old case encounters a diverse group of guests, including a detective, a preacher, a Marine Corps veteran, a businessman, and others, while a killer operates among them. The play uses the conventions of the slasher genre to examine character stereotypes and the revelations that emerge under isolation.
Americana Chronologica is a 1500-question multiple-choice trivia volume arranged chronologically from the colonial period through 2024. Questions draw primarily from historical markers across the fifty states and territories, supplemented by local and national news accounts. Each state receives at least five entries. Categories encompass geography, people, conflict and war, government, culture, technology, natural disasters, and miscellaneous topics. Chapters progress from Colonialism through the 21st Century, with answer keys provided. The volume is dedicated to their old university History Professor, who helped expand their knowledge via their 2015 “History of Pennsylvania” class.
